Product Overview

Hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha, also known as HIF-1-alpha, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the HIF1A gene. Two alternative transcripts encoding different isoforms have been identified. The protein encoded by HIF1 is a bHLH - PAS transcription factor found in mammalian cells growing at low oxygen concentrations. It plays an essential role in cellular and systemic responses to hypoxia. This is one of the class of hypoxia inducible factors, a family that includes Hif1a, Hif2a, and Hif3a.

Usage

Reconstitute in PBS or others.

Stability

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage

Store it under sterile conditions at -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -80℃.

Stroage Buffer

Lyophilized from 20mM PB, 300mMNaCl,pH7.7
